I attended GRPS about eight or nine years ago and I have had my share of caring teachers but the strange thing is that I remember the uncaring ones the most. One teacher in particular taught Algebra II but we pretty much just watched movies, she gave her favorites A's and least favorites B's. Now I am not very good at matah at all!!!!
I had a teacher that really pushed me. At the time, I thought he was unfair, but came to learn that he helped me strive for the best I could be and that students have different learning strengths and needs. As a teacher, I try to apply that with my students and meet them where their needs and strengths are.
