Once again it is Christmas and time to celebrate the birth date of all dates. The birth date I am referring to is that of our Christ, Lord and Savior.
It is not a time to be boastful about the gifts you do receive and it is definitely not a time to be unappreciative because of the gifts you do not receive.
Most of us won’t be able to celebrate Christmas because everyone refuses to take out the trash.
When trash is left in a room for long period of time it creates an unbearable stench. It attracts flies which later on brings on maggots.
If someone would volunteer to take out the trash when it is ready to be taken out then the extra baggage such as the unbearable stench, flies, and maggots wouldn’t be a problem that needs to be dealt with.
The trash that I am referring to is the drama and the grudges that are held within families because of previous disputes.
There are the depressed parents that are upset because they can’t afford high priced gifts and there are the children who are ungrateful because they don’t realize that they receive gifts everyday.
I consider the following chaos to be trash; it is trash because it’s ridiculous baggage that people create themselves.
Why can’t the thought of a person being in the presence of their family be a blessing from God and a present? Some people will not have the opportunity to even see their family this Christmas and they will still be able to celebrate the season.
Why are some of us upset when we aren’t able to receive presents during Christmas when we receive gifts everyday?
If you have a coat on your back then you can say Merry Christmas.
If you have shoes on your feet then you can say Merry Christmas.
If you have a house to live in then you definitely can say Merry Christmas.
An individual that has all of the following things or more, and still feels the need to complain, needs to take out the trash. I smell a stench and it is coming from the family that can’t even sit down and celebrate Christmas together.
Somebody needs to take out the t5rash because sister is mad at sister for attracting her boyfriend. Mama is still mad at daughter for lying about her pregnancy.
I see the flies coming. They smell the trash.
Dad is still angry with son for not following in his footsteps.
The trash continues to sit in the house and as long as it sits the celebration of Christmas will cease to occur.
I’m going to leave you all with this; II Kings 14:26; For the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel.
